Shine On, You Crazy Princess

Have you ever finished a marathon? Have you ever wondered what it feels like to finish something larger than yourself (not by very much, mind you) and how it feels to know that you've accomplished something, no matter how long it took you?

I do.

And oh my goodness was she a challenge.

Celestia's made of Super Sculpey, painted with acrylics, and sealed with satin varnish. Her little birds (visible in other photos) and crown (also not shown) were made with Sculpey III, and both her crown and regalia are adorned with a Swarovski crystal. She also functions as a trinket box, which I lined with felt (never doing that again, thank you very much).
